So heres a little bit about Mission Lorelei! Missions Lorelei is a singer songwriter that writes phycadelic, acoustic, ambient music. They are currently a student and have just released a single on band camp called "pain is just consequential." Mission Lorelei is an artist who has extremely thoughtful lyrics and very raw emotional melodies. They are a very intentional performer that values the intamacy of small venues. The ambience and use of one guitar manufactures an energy that gives you a sence that you are having a discusion with someone who gets you without haveing to say anything. They are able to draw you in with their interesting chords and entrance you with their poetry like something from another world. Having their background in New Orleans, the care for the craft of their music is apparent. Their values are rooted authenticity and anonymity so that the listener is able to relate to the music and not have their personal identity be the subject of the music. They use ambience to create an almost extra terrestrial energy and sound to make the listener have a feeling like they're an astronaut that has been separated from their ship.
